Step 1: Log in to HLB Connect Online Banking or Mobile App
You need to have an HLB Savings, Current or Credit Card account to use this service. If you don’t have one, you can apply online at www.hongleongconnect.my. Once you have an account, you can log in to HLB Connect Online Banking or Mobile App using your username and password.
Step 2: Select Pay Bill under Bill Payment
On the HLB Connect Online Banking website, click on Pay & Transact, then select Pay Bill under Bill Payment. On the HLB Connect Mobile App, tap on the Pay & Transact icon, then tap on Pay Bill.
Step 3: Choose TNB from the JomPAY list
JomPAY is a national bill payment service that allows you to pay your bills online using funds from your bank account or credit card. You can view the list of JomPAY billers here. To pay your TNB bill, choose TNB from the JomPAY list, select by Category or from your list of Favourite billers. If TNB is not in your favourite biller list, you can enter the bill’s details manually.
Step 4: Enter the TNB account number and payment amount
You can find your TNB account number on your bill statement or on the myTNB Portal. Enter the account number and the payment amount that you want to pay. You can also choose to save TNB as your favourite biller for future payments.
Step 5: Review and confirm your payment
Before you submit your payment, review the details and make sure they are correct. You will need to approve your payment using AppAuthorise (or 6-digit TAC if you do not have HLB Connect App). AppAuthorise is a secure and convenient way to authorise transactions using biometric authentication or PIN on your mobile device. Once you confirm your payment, you will receive a confirmation message and a reference number for your records.
