The Credit Counselling and Debt Management Agency, or Agensi Kaunseling dan Pengurusan Kredit (AKPK), is a Malaysian agency established by the central bank, Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM), in 2006.
AKPK’s mission is to empower individuals and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to manage their finances through education, advisory services, and debt management.
AKPK is overseen by BNM and staffed by certified financial advisors with extensive experience. The agency’s vision is to be a trusted and leading authority in financial wellness, empowering a financially resilient society and contributing to national socioeconomic goals.
