upanKurnia Insurance is a Malaysian insurance company that specializes in motor insurance. The company was founded in 1977 as Industrial & Commercial Insurance before changing its name to Kurnia Insurance in 1991.
Kurnia offers motor insurance products including coverage for assets, personal injury, medical expenses, accidents, and pet insurance. In 2012, the company was acquired by AmGeneral Insurance, a subsidiary of AMMB Holdings, for MYR 1.55 billion. Kurnia also operates the Kurnia Express center, which was launched in 2003.
