- Go to “Apply.”
- Select “DuitNow” and click “Apply Now” to proceed for DuitNow ID registration.
- Select your preferred account number to pair with your ID number reflected in Maybank2u.
- Click “Done” to complete the registration.
Maybank app
- Launch your Maybank app and login.
- Select “Me” on the side menu.
- Tap on “DuitNow” and select “Register” to proceed for DuitNow ID registration.
- Select your preferred account number to pair with your ID number reflected in the app.
- Tap “Done” to complete the registration.
MAE app
- Launch your MAE app and login.
- Tap on “Transfer.”
- Choose your debiting account.
- Select “DuitNow.”
- Key in your DuitNow ID details (mobile number / IC number) and select “Continue.”
- Enter the transfer amount and select “Continue.”
Step 2: Scan the DuitNow QR code with BigPay
After you have registered your DuitNow ID with Maybank, you can use it to receive money from your BigPay account. To do this, you need to scan the DuitNow QR code with your BigPay app.
To generate the DuitNow QR code, you can use the Maybank app or the MAE app. Here are the steps for each option:
Maybank app
- Launch your Maybank app and login.
- Select “QRPay” on the side menu.
- Tap on “Receive Money.”
- Choose your preferred account number.
- Tap on “DuitNow QR.”
- A QR code will be generated for you to receive money via DuitNow.
MAE app
- Launch your MAE app and login.
- Tap on “Send & Request.”
- Tap on “Receive Money.”
- Choose your preferred account number.
- Tap on “DuitNow QR.”

- Launch your BigPay app and login.
- Tap on “Scan & Pay.”
- Scan the DuitNow QR code displayed on your Maybank app or MAE app.
- Enter the amount you want to transfer and tap on “Next.”
- Confirm the transfer details and tap on “Pay.”
Step 3: Check your transaction status and history
Once you have completed the transfer, you can check your transaction status and history on both apps.
To check your transaction status and history on BigPay, follow these steps:
- Launch your BigPay app and login.
- Tap on “Activity.”
- You will see a list of your recent transactions, including the DuitNow transfer.
- Tap on the transaction to see more details, such as the date, time, amount, recipient name, and reference.
To check your transaction status and history on Maybank or MAE, follow these steps:
Maybank app
- Launch your Maybank app and login.
- Select “History” on the side menu.
- You will see a list of your recent transactions, including the DuitNow transfer.
- Tap on the transaction to see more details, such as the date, time, amount, sender name, and reference.
MAE app
- Launch your MAE app and login.
- Tap on “History.”
- You will see a list of your recent transactions, including the DuitNow transfer.
- Tap on the transaction to see more details, such as the date, time, amount, sender name, and reference.
