BSN DuitNow is a convenient service that enables you to send and receive money instantly using a DuitNow ID, such as a mobile number, NRIC, passport number, or business registration number. You can use BSN DuitNow to transfer money to any registered bank account in Malaysia with DuitNow.

Step 1: Log in to myBSN

Visit https://mybsn.com.my and enter your username and password. Click on the login button and verify your security image. If the displayed image matches the one you selected during registration, click “Yes.”

Step 2: Select Transfer > Interbank Fund Transfer > DuitNow

From the left menu, click on “Transfer” and then choose “Interbank Fund Transfer.” You’ll encounter two options for transfer types: DuitNow and Interbank GIRO. Be sure to select “DuitNow” for real-time transfers. Avoid choosing “Interbank GIRO” as it may take several days for the recipient to receive the funds.

Step 3: Enter Transfer Details

Complete the transfer details, including:

  • From Account: Pick the account you want to transfer money from.
  • Transfer To: Select the type of DuitNow ID you want to use, such as a mobile number or NRIC.
  • ID Type: Enter the DuitNow ID of the recipient, like their phone number or NRIC.
  • My Favourites: You can save the recipient as a favorite for future transfers.
  • Amount (RM): Specify the amount you want to transfer.
  • Recipient Reference: Provide a reference for the recipient, such as “Rent” or “Gift.”
  • Additional Info (Optional): Include any extra information you wish to convey, such as “Happy Birthday” or “Thank You.”
  • Other Details: Decide whether you want to notify the recipient via email.

Step 4: Confirm the Transfer

Review the transfer details to ensure accuracy. The information displayed will include:

  • Transfer Type: DuitNow
  • From Account: Your account number and name
  • Beneficiary Details: The recipient’s bank, name, and account number
  • Transaction Type: Instant Transfer
  • Payment Details: The amount, service charge (free), and recipient reference
  • Other Details: The additional info and notification option

Click “Request TAC” to receive an SMS on your registered BSN mobile phone number. The SMS will contain a number (TAC) that you need to enter in the TAC field. Enter the TAC and confirm that you’ve read and understood the DuitNow terms and conditions by ticking “Yes.” Then, click “Confirm” to proceed with the transfer.

Step 5: Transfer Acknowledgement

You’ll receive a confirmation message indicating that your transfer was successful. The confirmation will include details such as:

  • Transaction Date and Time
  • Transaction Reference Number
  • Status: Successful
  • From Account
  • To Account
  • Amount
  • Service Charge
  • Recipient Reference
  • Additional Info
  • Notify Via Email

You can print or save this acknowledgement for your records, and you can also view your transaction history in myBSN.
