Step 1: Gather Your Documents and Photo
Before you commence your online passport renewal application, ensure that you have the following documents and a suitable photo at hand:
- Your current Malaysian passport
- Your MyKad or identity card
- A recent passport-sized photo that adheres to these requirements:
- The photo should be in color and taken against a plain white background.
- Your full face should be visible without any headgear or accessories, unless they are worn for religious reasons.
- The photo must be clear and sharp, free from shadows or glare.
- It should be in JPEG format and not exceed 200 KB in size.
- The photo must have been taken within the last six months.
