Step 1: Visit the JPJ Portal
The JPJ Portal is the official website of the Road Transport Department of Malaysia (Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan Malaysia). It provides various services and information for drivers, vehicle owners, and enforcement agencies. You can access the JPJ Portal at https://www.jpj.gov.my/en/web/main-site/home.
Step 2: Click on “Inquiry of Driving Test Date”
On the homepage of the JPJ Portal, you will see a menu on the left side. Click on “Driver” and then select “Inquiry of Driving Test Date”. This will take you to a page where you can enter your ID number and category to check your driving test date and results.
Step 3: Enter your ID number and category
You will need to enter your ID number and category to check your driving test results online. Your ID number can be your Malaysian Public ID Number (MyKAD), Old IC Number, or Passport Number. Your category can be A, B2, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, or vocational license. For example, if you have a MyKAD number of 801121141234 and you applied for a Class B license, you will enter these details in the respective fields.
Step 4: Click on “Submit”
After entering your ID number and category, click on the “Submit” button. This will display your driving test date and results on the screen. You will see whether you passed or failed the Part I Legal Test, Part II Driving Testing Test (Hill climbing test and parking test), and Part III Driving Test (Driving test on the road). You will also see the expiry date of your Learners Driving License (LDL) if you have one.
Step 5: Print or save your driving test results
You can print or save your driving test results online for your reference. To print your results, click on the “Print” button at the bottom of the page. To save your results, click on the “Save” button and choose a location on your device to store the file.
Congratulations! You have successfully checked your driving test results online in Malaysia. If you passed the test, you can apply for a Competent Driving License (CDL) at any JPJ Offices or e-Services kiosk. If you failed the test, you can reapply for another test after 30 days.
